Take a Good Photo
To ensure your find looks its best in the magazine, make sure you take good, clear photos. Action shots from the field are always good, followed by a nice shot all cleaned up afterwards. If you’re creative, think about staging it for effect. The better the photo is the more engagement it will receive.
Tell a Story
You don’t need to be an accomplished writer to have your story published. Simply tell us a bit about how you came to find your treasure, using your own words. Don’t worry about spelling or grammar, we’ll polish it up (if needed) and make it look its best for you. Make sure to include things like who you were with and make/model of any equipment you were using etc.
Publishing
Due to the high volume of stories we receive each day, we can’t guarantee your story will appear the same or next day after you’ve submitted it. Sometimes we may carry over stories to the following day, or not publish them at all. We do make every effort to publish as many submitted stories as possible. If we do intend to publish your story, we will let you know in advance so you and your family/friends can look out for it.
